Please note that this is a private event and access to the Convention requires an Attendee Badge. This badge is not included in the Volunteer Registration and must be obtained by the Volunteer prior to checking in.

 

The minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old. ConChair approval is needed for anyone under the age of 16.

 

The Volunteer Co-ordinator will be in ConOps from Thursday 10 am to 10 pm, Friday 9 am to 10 pm, Saturday 9 am to 10 pm, and Sunday noon to 4 pm.

 

Volunteer rewards will be received based on the Hours logged. Perks are subject to change/substitution at the discretion of the convention. These are typically awarded at the end of the convention but discretion to award early may be done with sufficient hours and at the discretion of the Department Head.

 

Volunteer opportunities vary based upon age, availability, event, event scheduling, the various departments participation in the program, and the needs of the convention.Volunteer assignments are by choice and you may request/deny an assignment.

 

You may sign up to Volunteer at the Convention even if you do not fill this application out, Just visit Convention Operations on the 2nd floor in Ballroom D behind the Video Game Room!

 

All volunteers will uphold the policies outlined on our webpage.

 

All Volunteers need to provide their full legal name, email, and phone number for contact purposes. This information will only be accessed by the Volunteer Coordinator and their Department Head.

 

Volunteers will be assigned a time card and “Gopher Badge" when they sign in. The Volunteer Coordinator will temporarily take possession of the attendee badge. Once the time card and “Gopher Badge” are turned to the Volunteer Coordinator the attendee badge will be returned to the volunteer. The time cards must be filled out and signed by the representative of the department the volunteer is assigned to.

 

All minor Volunteers must return “Gopher Badges” and time cards to the Coordinators Desk by 10:00p, you may return the next day to continue Volunteering. All Volunteers 18+ must return their time cards and “GOpher Badges” to ConOps by 01:50am.
