We hope you have your dancing feet (and wings) ready because the NekoCon Formal Prom is back and better than ever. Come dance the night away to folk favorites and new beats featuring DJ Soundmello! Join your hosts the NekoCon Mascots Miyoko, Reiko, Takeo, and Akiko, as they kick off the weekend with their special event set to this year’s theme, The Four Seasons!

For the second year, there will be a charity picture event with pictures by Akiko- two dollars for a prom style polaroid photo with the money going straight to our sponsored charities.

Don’t forget to come dressed in your best four seasons outfit for a chance to be crowned NekoCon Prom’s King or Queen! Winners receive bragging rights till next year and badges for NekoCon 2022! Formal attire is required to attend this event, please check below for rules and regulations!

What is allowed:

Formal wear (suits, tuxedos, formal dresses)

Dressy skirts/shorts (Must be near knee length)

Cocktail or evening dresses

Military formal wear (from any era)

Dressy separates

Formal period clothing

Costumes that could pass as formal wear

Jeans

T-shirts

Sneakers

Flip flops

Combat boots

Extreme platforms

Stilettos

Kigus

Large wings

Rave gear

Utilikilts

Stilts

Clothes or costumes must not be too revealing or a hindrance to your movement

Bags are not allowed in main events during dances

Prom DJ
DJ SoundMello

DJ Soundmello has been DJing for 3 1/2 years going on 4 years and the enjoyment of it shows in his work. He DJ’s the prom at NekoCon and is also out on the balcony DJing for multiple NekoCon’s. The Soundmello styles are tech house, deep house, trance, Disco and whatever else he may mix in.

“I may start Mello but at the end you will enjoy my set!”
