Kouki (D=OUT) with HIZAKI (Versailles, Jupiter)

Come see D=OUT vocalist Kouki, featuring HIZAKI of Versailles and Jupiter on guitar, at Nekocon 2022! Nekocon will be held from November 4-6 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, VA. Attendees will be able to catch Kouki and HIZAKI live in concert, performing D=OUT songs, a Q&A panel, autograph sessions, and more. Please stay tuned as more details are revealed.

Kouki (D=OUT)

D=OUT is a Japanese visual kei band which was originally formed in 2007. Shortly after their formation, they had successful tours in Europe and Asia and put on performances and shows that rival the top level artists in Japan.

Vocalist Kouki not only plays the Japanese instrument tsugaru-jamisen, but also performs Japanese dances at concerts.

With his solo work, Kouki has achieved the #1 rank in the Enka genre on the Oricon music charts, even acquiring the #1 rank in France.

Marking 15 years since D=OUT’s formation, the long awaited US debut performance, which will undoubtedly provide a taste of Japanese culture, is not to be missed.

HIZAKI (Versailles, Jupiter)

HIZAKI is the leader and composer of the band Jupiter, which was formed in 2013, as well as a member of the band Versailles, which was reborn in 2016.

Renowned as a skilled guitarist, along with pursuing “beauty” aesthetically, HIZAKI’s popularity has extended both in Japan and abroad. He has also performed overseas multiple times with an extraordinary energy.

Despite being instrumental and featuring exclusively guitars, HIZAKI’s previous album “Rosario” recorded impressive sales and continues on to be highly appreciated not only by the metal world but also in various musical fields.

Currently, while working simultaneously on 2 bands and his solo project, HIZAKI has expanded his activities to producing other bands.
