Guest Announcement: Kim and Misty Ormiston

Please welcome cosplay guests and actors, Kim and Misty Ormiston!


Kim and Misty Ormiston are best known for their roles in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 as Leeg 1 and Leeg 2, the badass, devoted sister soldiers in Katniss’s Star Squad “451.” In addition to performing various roles on SyFy they have walked the runways in New York for top brands such as Christian Dior and posed for several magazine spreads on covers such as Maxim. The duo also direct, edit, and write their own short films.

Loves of creativity, versatility, and originality, the twins have the ability to transform from female to male model and have an awesome time rocking this ability when they cosplay. Their favorites include Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd, the Goblin King Jareth and Goblin, and Gambit and Rogue.

Mike got his start in anime as one of the first voice actors in Texas to be hired by FUNimation Entertainment, and has since moved on to become a Director, Script Writer, and Line Producer for numerous anime series. Notable roles include Master Roshi and Yajirobe in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Baby and Baby-Vegeta in Dragon Ball GT, Jean Kirstein in Attack on Titan, Goemon in Lupin The Third (Movie Specials), Ritsu Sohma in Fruits Basket, Lt. Jean Havoc in Fullmetal Alchemist, Cain in Trinity Blood, Buggy the Clown in One Piece, Amon in Tokyo Ghoul, “Ranka” Fujioka in Ouran High School Host Club, Estonia in Hetalia, as well as many others.

VOCAMERICA: The Western VOCALOID Concert Project


We are excited to announce our Friday concert along with some exclusive opportunities! This year NekoCon will be the first to host VOCAMERICA: The Western VOCALOID Concert Project!

The VOCAMERICA Concert Project is a live holographic musical event featuring English and Western vocal synthesizers.

The goal of the Kickstarter is to help fund the further production of the VOCAMERICA live concert. This is the first attempt to bring the Western and English VOCALOIDS to the public through a live performance!

Now that Spring has sprung and we’re out of hibernation, it’s time for another guest announcement! Please welcome voice actor Lisle Wilkerson!

Lisle WilkersonLisle Wilkerson grew up in Tokyo, Japan. She speaks fluent Japanese, and does voice work is done in both English and Japanese. She is the powerhouse behind some of the gaming industry’s most popular female fighting characters, such as Nina Williams and Christie Monteiro (Tekken series), Sarah Bryant from the Virtua Fighter series, as well as Shenmue II.

We know the event has just ended but we’re bringing you a second guest announcement for NekoCon 19! Please welcome voice actor Bryce Papenbrook!

Bryce Papenbrook has been a professional voice over artist since the age of eight. He was introduced to the voice acting scene by his father, Bob Papenbrook, and has continued the trade in his footsteps.

Bryce has performed in numerous video games, cartoons, and television shows. Some recent roles include Eren in Attack on Titan, Kirito in Sword Art Online, Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist, Masaomi Kida in Durarara!!, and Adrien/Cat Noir in Miraculous Ladybug.
