Why would you want to pre-pay your membership? A few good reasons, really.

  • Early check-in Thursday night. Skip the Friday and Saturday lines!
  • Faster lines if you do check in Friday or Saturday.
  • Save the extra cash for your “NekoCon Dealers Room” piggy bank.
  • Your membership helps us prepare, and the sooner you join, the sooner we can get started on special projects to make the convention better than ever!

Please note: ALL full membership applications must be post-marked by September 30, 2010! This does not mean we have to receive them by that date, simply that you have sent it by then.

If you mailed in your Membership Applications after September 15th, please do not ask if it has been received until after October 10th. Thank you!

To become a full member of NekoCon, you can fill out our handy online form, then print and send it in with a check or money order made out to NEKOCON.

Group Memberships

Groups of 5 or more receive a discount for sending in their membership applications as a whole.

$175.00 for 5 Full Memberships, with additional membership discounted accordingly:

  • Additional Memberships: $35.00
  • Additional Children: Free* (All Infant / Child Memberships are Free with a paid Regular Membership.)

Group memberships must be handled through regular mail. If you have any questions, please email us ASAP. The postmark deadline for ALL memberships is September 30th, 2010.

  • Download a copy of the Group Membership Form for every member of your group.
  • Please fill out and print a copy completely for each member, then send them together with the complete group payment to the address above. Don’t forget to save a copy for your records. THIS MUST BE ONE PAYMENT! Individual payments will result in individual memberships and you will all be charged the remaining membership fee before you can pick up your badges.
  • Make sure the official name for your group (anime club, parent’s last name, etc) is the same on all your forms. It is helpful to mark memberships as 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, etc.
  • PLEASE check (and double check!) the price amounts when sending your payment.
  • Group members will still need an ID to pick up their badges, if their Group Leader has not collected the badges. Handwritten notes and phone calls don’t count!
  • When the Group Leader shows up, all remaining badges will be given to him/her. If you know they’ve arrived already, contact this person first!
  • If you have any problems with the group membership form, please don’t hesitate to email us.

Paying with PayPal?

  • PayPal memberships can be purchased HERE
  • Please allow 14 working days for memberships paid for through PayPal to show up on the confirmation list.

At-Door Membership Policies for NekoCon 13

  • * At-Door Pre-Paid Membership badge pick-up will begin Thursday night at 7:30pm.
  • * At-door membership will be open the following hours:
Thursday 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Pre-Paid Memberships ONLY)
Friday 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday 9:00 AM – Noon

Confirmation

If you have already sent in a membership form, please check to ensure that you are on the list of confirmed members. This is our method of confirmation, and once you are on the list you will not receive an email from us unless there is a problem. If you pay through PayPal they will send you their own confirmation that you paid, this is NOT our confirmation.

*** Please give us 2 – 3 weeks to have your membership information posted to the confirmation list. Most memberships sent via Mail should show up on the confirmation list by October 11th. (This is not to say if you waited until October 2nd to send your memberships that the postal system would have them delivered by this time.)

Refunds

Pre-paid memberships are refundable up until September 30th 2010.

  • You must contact memberships@NekoCon.com to request your refund.
  • Refund requests received prior to September 1st will be mailed out before the convention.
  • Refund requests received after September 1st will be mailed out after the convention with all refunds to be processed no later than December 10th.

For PayPal cancellations and refunds up until September 30th 2010.

  • You must contact memberships@NekoCon.com to request your refund / cancellation
  • Refund Requests made after September 30th 2010 will be processed as soon as possible but may happen after the convention is over.
  • You must provide us with the following information:
    • The PayPal Transaction ID
    • The name registered
    • The reason for canceling the membership

Parting Thoughts

  • Please check with parents/teachers/professors/bosses (anyone who can deny your right to attend!) to ensure that you will still be free and available to attend NekoCon before October 2nd. We assume that you are dead set on attending NekoCon after September 30th 2010.

Full Membership Transfers

You must email memberships@NekoCon.com no later than September 30th, 2010 if you want to transfer your membership to another person.

Check Acceptance Policy

NekoCon accepts personal and company checks under the following terms and conditions:

  1. We do not accept “starter” checks (Checks numbered under 500) or checks that do not have the name and address of the individual or company making the purchase imprinted on them. P.O. Boxes will not be sufficient. A home or business address must be provided.
  2. All checks returned from the bank unpaid for any reason are subject to a $30.00 returned check fee. Additionally, you will be subject to further legal action if the check amount and fee are not paid in full within ten days. We can not accept a individual or company check to pay for a returned check. We will have records on-hand and will collect any unpaid fees at the door or you will not get your badge!
  3. We do not accept third-party checks or payroll checks.
  4. By writing a check to us for payment, you authorize us to withdraw the full amount of the payment from your checking account by standard deposit of your check, or utilizing Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), if we so choose. In the event a check is returned from the bank unpaid for any reason, and funds are available in your account, we reserve the right to utilize Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to withdraw the full amount of the check, plus our $30.00 fee, directly from your account.
