ShelterBox Update

Last year we raised a little over $1,500 for ShelterBox (http://www.shelterbox.org/) to assist families in obtaining basic shelter after a natural disaster. I have learned from the nice people at ShelterBox that the Boxes we sponsored were recently deployed to displaced families of Tropical Storm Haikui in the Philippines. Because of your kind donations the Otaku of Hampton Roads have been able to directly change the lives of 3 families in the Philippines for the better. It is my hope that we can raise even more for this great charity this year. Please take some time to stop by the Art Show and view/bid on the items in our charity auction or just drop off what ever you can spare in the collection box at the NekoCon table in the dealers room.
